Our formal recruitment period has ended. Please check back for Fall 2010 Events!

1. What is Recruitment?
Recruitment is a formal period of time for women who are interested in Delta Phi Lambda to find out if the sorority is right for them. It is an opportunity for interested women to meet the Sisters. It is also a great way for interested women to learn more about Delta Phi Lambda and sorority life in general.

2. What are Recruitment events?
Recruitment events are set up by the Sisters of the chapter in order for interested woman to get to know Sisters and to learn more about Delta Phi Lambda. Although we hope that you would attend all of our recruitment events, we understand that it may not be possible, therefore we encourage you to attend as many as you can.

3. Do I have to pay?
All recruitment week activities and rides are FREE!!! There are no obligations, just a chance for potentials to get to know us!

4. Do I have to be Asian-American?
Even though we are an "Asian American Interest Sorority," that in no way means that we are exclusive only to Asians. Today, our sorority is proud to have Sisters that have a wide array of diverse backgrounds, interest, and talents. Each of our Sisters bring a unique aspect and point of view to our diverse Sisterhood. Therefore, we continue to encourage and invite all women to join, regardless of ethnicity.

5. How often do you host Recruitment?
We typically recruit in the Fall and Winter quarters. Keep an eye on our website for any additional updates.

6. How do I become considered?
We require that a potential new member attend at least 2/3 of our recruitment events and attend an interview. After the interview, potentials may be given an offer. The potential member has the option of accepting, deferring, or declining.
